Happy Belated Doughnut Day

 The Mister gets up every morning and watches Mike and Mike on ESPN. Yesterday all they did was talk about it being Doughnut Day.

I spent the whole day wanting one and the one trip I sent The Mister on to get me one, he came back empty handed.

After a long hard day of playing home improvement with no break for food, I really, really needed a doughnut.

At about 8:00 I caved in and got out Mom's ancient cookbook.

 

It certainly was easy to make a plateful and even easier to eat more than I should.
