I'm a little bit baffled as to why people seem to go nuts over my eyes here. I keep getting asked by different people how I do my eye make-up. I guess I forget because I see this as every day work make-up that not everyone knows instantly how to do it.
Sorry about the awful pictures but I am sitting at my desk in my room and I have no more light then this!!! I didn't think anything of my make-up other then how I am no longer bothering to wear a full face of foundation to college and/or powder and/or bronzer and/or blush - However I find I am using the same product over and over again.
I got stopped today by two fashion students who wanted to take a picture of my 'perfect smokey' eye make-up!!!! I was a bit take aback but meh, who am I to stand in the way of the paparazzi?!?!?!
I have started to use an old limited edition pigment set which was part of a range which came out just after Christmas - I'm using a pigment called 'Shifting Sands' and instead of using a dark brown or black - I am using 'Beauty Marked' (both by MAC Cosmetics)
I use Shifting sands (you can also use any other gold metallic pigment or light shade) across the lid before adding beauty marked into the crease using my 224 brush. I swear by my brushes. You cannot get this effect without them. I know it might seem mental to spend a fortune on brushes but they do make all the difference. The 224 gives me a bit more of a blended effect.
I then went under the eyes with Beauty Marked and added a little bit of a black eye pencil in there too for extra smudge!
That was it! No more then that!
I've only been stopped three times in my life for this sort of thing! Its actually a nice change not to be the person doing it!
