LOOKBOOKS : Warehouse AW12

I have a few images from the Warehouse AW12 lookbook to share with you this morning. I must say, I am not the biggest fan of Warehouse - I know some girls find the nicest things in there but I never have much luck. However I am definately a fan of the leopard print skirt and jumper look below. It has something casual and 60s about it which appeals to me. I have both a leopard print skirt and a baggy grey T-shirt which I might team together to get this look myself actually. I might even buy - nude tights. No seriously, I am actually considering nude tights.......watch this space!
There are a lot of very wearable pieces in the collection which could be added to a functional wardrobe with great ease. Warehouse has great form on providing accessible pieces which are both fashionable and comfortable. It's easy to get suckered into buying pieces which are very much on trend for AW12 but don't look so hot outside of the season. This season in Warehouse seems to be about pieces which transcend this and could be worn repeatedly. There are softer more 60s pieces like the coat below which also fall into a minimalist trend but there are harder more military pieces in the collection like the above jacket.
We've already seen examples of florals creeping into AW collections - I must say I approve but surely there must be a way of doing florals that you could wear them in both seasons? I quite like the above suit - although I must say i wouldn't wear it all together like that. There is something about it which makes me think of Mary Katrantzou for Topshop. I don't know why - but there is....
