It is becoming apparent that any song with the title "Touch Me" will automatically bring a smile to my face. First, Katharine McPhee succeeded with a track off a soundtrack from the tragically cancelled SMASH series. Then, Armand Deluxe and SIRPAUL teamed up to release a raunchy, pop song of the same name. Now, the boys in heels, the fabulous KAZAKY, are treating fans to the second single from their upcoming album. "Touch Me" follows in the same footsteps as the rest of the group's previous catalog, an uptempo, electro/dance creation that would be great to blast in the nearest club or walk to down the runway, as the boys have done numerous times. As alluded in the name, the new single brings the heat and sex appeal.
Production takes the forefront on "Touch Me", grabbing attention as soon as it begins. Vocals are good, especially for a group who use their music as a soundtrack for their true passion: modeling. The men seductively sing about advising others to touch them when the music is loud, and I would be the first to do as I was told. "But at night you come back to your desire," the boys sing. Seems the four are getting a bit cocky about their natural good looks and abdominal muscles that would stop anyone in their tracks. Supported by dance worthy beats fit for any late night occasion, the single is simply three minutes of a good time.
KAZAKY's "Touch Me" is a nice effort. It isn't as addictive as "Love" or "Dance & Change", it does not deviate far from the formula the boys have been crafting for themselves, but it is a fun dance track that will please their fans and fans of the dance/electronic/house genre. The songwriting is kept simple, the production is the main highlight and the vocals are a dream, ready to dominate any listener. The new song is a catchy release, nothing good or bad, and will probably lead to a steamy, jaw-dropping music video as KAZAKY's other tracks have done so in the past. Happy these four are still pushing their music career forward!
